"PricoPlex is a trendsetter in the industry": Positive assessment following the Meat Congress and EuroShop

February was trade show month for the PricoPlex team. Whether at the Meat Congress in Königswinter or EuroShop in Düsseldorf, networking was the top priority.

The PricoPlex team has just wrapped up a series of intense days and weeks filled with stimulating conversations, new experiences, and networking events. First, the team had a booth at the 34th German Meat Congress in Königswinter, and then traveled on to Düsseldorf, where EuroShop—the world’s leading trade fair for retail investment needs—was taking place. Even at the Meat Congress, it became clear that PricoPlex is setting the standard across the entire industry with its products and is well-positioned to meet the market’s needs.

Meat Stars 2026 Use PricoPlex Products

The 2026 German Meat Star awards ceremony in Königswinter, which honored the country’s best meat counters, made this clear once again: All four winners use PricoPlex products in their counters. The Rewe Pfleger store in St. Augustin, which won the category for the smallest stores, is partially equipped with PricoPlex, while the Edeka store in Jestetten (small stores category), Rewe Haase in Neustadt in Holstein (medium-sized stores category), and the Rewe Center Egelsbach (large stores category) are extensively or fully equipped with PricoPlex products. “Congratulations to all the winners. We’re delighted that our product range was able to play a part in their success,” says Fabian Zanoni, sales manager at PricoPlex.

International Interest in PricoPlex Counter Trays

Following this success, the team headed to EuroShop in Düsseldorf. “The audience was very diverse, and visitors came from all over the world,” Zanoni noted after the trade show in Düsseldorf. For example, a butcher from Australia visited the booth and plans to stock his fresh food counter with PricoPlex products in the future. Another visitor was the deputy managing director of a supermarket in Jordan, who has been using PricoPlex counter fixtures for many years and now plans to redesign the store, once again relying on the company’s products.

Potential partners from around the world

The design of the GRACE series, the STONE finish, and the Petrol color, in particular, drew a lot of attention. “That created a ‘wow’ effect for many people,” Zanoni says happily. Between conversations with store designers, counter equipment suppliers, and butchers at their own booth, he and Managing Director Christian Priebe took the time to explore the exhibition, which featured a total of 1,840 exhibitors from 61 countries. This provided an opportunity to network, hold discussions with partners, and learn about the industry’s latest innovations. For example, Zanoni met with representatives from the store fit-out company Modern Expo, which is headquartered in Ukraine. The Mix Märkte in Germany—for which PricoPlex has already fitted several counters—are a mutual client, and closer collaboration could be on the horizon. Discussions were also expanded with the shopfitting company Schweitzer from South Tyrol, which had already begun at the Meat Congress just a few days earlier.

From GRACE to Leberkäse molds: PricoPlex is a trendsetter

There in Königswinter, where the German meat industry gathered, one innovation from the PricoPlex portfolio was particularly popular: the Meatloaf pan. But the mold also drew interest at EuroShop—albeit with different application ideas. For example, PricoPlex’s Spanish partner, Anguera Maquinària, suggested using it to bake ham, and the Meatloaf pan also proved popular for making pâtés. Overall, Zanoni drew a positive conclusion after the trade show: “The contacts and discussions were very valuable. And the feedback showed that PricoPlex is a trendsetter in the industry.”
