Success with PricoPlex:
With PricoPlex consulting and equipment, two Edeka stores were crowned winners
Congratulations! Entrepreneur Stefan Alex can be happy. His store in Höhenkirchen-Siegertsbrunn was recognized for its successful presentation of the fresh food counter. He won the Edeka Supercup in the category “Independent retail up to 1,200 square meters of retail space”. Our PricoPlex experts advised the entrepreneur in advance on the design of his fresh food counter. We actively supported Alex with the presentation of the vegetarian products in particular.
Edeka Prechtl Brannenburg from Bavaria was also successful. The store was named the winner of the “Supermarket of the Year – People & Markets” final in the category “Independent stores with up to 2,000 square meters of sales area”. The supermarket has been relying on our counter equipment for many years.

Hausner family butcher’s shop impresses with the PricoPlex tray system
32 branches, more than 300 employees: the Hausner family butcher’s shop from Weiden is known to its customers as a reliable supplier of meat and sausage products. At Hausner, everything is freshly cut and packaged. Owner Alexander Hausner uses PricoPlex trays in his counters for the high-quality presentation of his products.

Honeycomb base from PricoPlex now European Union trademark:
The unique solution for long-lasting appetizing looking meat
The honeycomb base from PricoPlex, the specialist retailer for professional food presentation systems, is now a protected trademark throughout Europe. The European Union Intellectual Property Office entered the honeycomb base in the register of European Union trademarks in May 2023. This underlines the importance and distinctiveness of the
product.
The honeycomb base in the display plate or tray ventilates the meat in the fresh food counter from below. It thus preserves the natural meat color and the product looks appetizing for longer. According to customers, beef, for example, can be stored in the refrigerated counter for around 72 hours without turning gray.
In addition, the honeycomb base makes small amounts of escaping meat juices invisible. Another plus point is sustainability: the honeycomb base replaces steak paper and therefore avoids waste, is robust, dishwasher-safe and can be used again and again.
The honeycomb shelf is part of our clever and flexible presentation system. The store automatically displays the appropriate honeycomb shelf for each display panel and tray.
